The Kościuszko Freedom Run returns for a special 10th anniversary edition, bringing together the Washington diplomatic community, families, and runners for a morning celebrating freedom, equality, and the legacy of General Tadeusz Kościuszko.

Organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, the Embassy of Lithuania, and the Montgomery County Road Runners Club, the event features a 5K run for adults and a 1K Kids' Fun Run at the scenic C&O Canal National Historical Park in Great Falls, Maryland.

The 5K begins at 9:00 AM, followed by the Kids' 1K Fun Run at 10:00 AM. Registration is free, and each participant will receive a commemorative medal and souvenir. Special prizes will also be awarded to the top performers in the 5K.

This year's event holds special significance as it coincides with the 250th anniversary of American independence, honoring Kościuszko's contributions to the American Revolution as well as his lifelong commitment to liberty in Poland, Lithuania, and the United States.
