Experience the spirit of Nassau and Paradise Island during a special Caribbean cultural evening at the newly reopened Embassy of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas in Washington, D.C.

The evening features a buffet of authentic Bahamian cuisine, Caribbean drinks including rum, and a live steel drum welcome. A Caribbean DJ will continue the celebration with Bahamian and island music, dancing, and a limbo contest designed to recreate the lively atmosphere of the islands.

Guests will also have the opportunity to meet Bahamian diplomats and enjoy a special diplomatic greeting. A short film highlighting the scenery, culture, and people of The Bahamas will provide another introduction to the country's heritage and traditions.
