Experience an elegant evening inspired by the traditions of Venice at the Embassy of Italy in Washington, D.C. The Venetian Ball combines Italian food and drinks, ballroom dancing, live opera, music, and a festive masquerade atmosphere.

The evening includes an Italian open bar, a buffet of traditional desserts, ballroom music and dance demonstrations, and a brief lesson for guests who would like to join in. Two opera singers will also perform selections inspired by Italy's rich operatic tradition.

Guests are welcome to wear Venetian masks for an optional masquerade contest, while the later part of the evening shifts to DJ music and dancing. Black tie is optional, with suit and tie required for men.

VIP admission begins at 7:00 PM and includes early entry, a private champagne reception, and an Italian buffet dinner. General admission begins at 8:30 PM, with a late-night admission option beginning at 9:30 PM. A portion of each ticket sale will benefit the American Cancer Society.
