DC JazzFest at The Wharf returns over Labor Day weekend for two full days of live jazz along Washington's Southwest Waterfront. The signature event of the DC Jazz Festival brings internationally celebrated artists, rising musicians, and leading performers from the Washington, D.C. jazz community together across multiple stages and venues at The Wharf.

The 2026 lineup features an impressive mix of jazz legends and contemporary artists, including NEA Jazz Master Dee Dee Bridgewater, Joshua Redman, Kurt Elling with Yellowjackets celebrating the music of Weather Report, Bill Frisell, Cory Henry & The Funk Apostles, Nate Smith, Danilo Pérez Trio, Etienne Charles & Creole Soul, Emmet Cohen Trio, Michele Rosewoman & Quintessence, and Orrin Evans Trio featuring vocalist Lisa Fischer.

The weekend also highlights Washington's own jazz community through performances by local musicians, emerging artists, student ensembles, and the annual DCJazzPrix competition. Additional programming includes an EU Mini-Fest presented in partnership with the European Union in the U.S., family activities, educational programming, and performances throughout the waterfront neighborhood.

Outdoor music begins at noon on both Saturday and Sunday and continues through 10:00 PM. Select performances at Arena Stage, Union Stage, and Pearl Street Warehouse require upgraded ticket levels or individual concert tickets. General festival passes and premium options including Preferred Seating, VIP, and Ultimate VIP are available.
