At Nord Anglia International School New York (NAISNY), we are passionate about teaching students skills and creating a unique learning experience. We inspire children to be confident and take on challenges, thereby achieving more than they thought possible. We have a vibrant community with children from over forty countries, bringing a global perspective and enriching the school community.

CHOOSING AN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL IN NEW YORK

NAISNY offers a unique opportunity for an exceptional education in New York City. Our curriculum is built on the best of the English national curriculum: an international, topicbased curriculum providing the globally recognized International Primary Curriculum (IPC) and International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC). The English national curriculum provides an outstanding academic program, which teaches mastery of math and English, acknowledging that there are many different learning styles within one classroom and that developing a deeper understanding of concepts enables students to achieve greater results.

The Early Years at NAISNY:
2 Years to 4 Years

Our Early Years program provides an engaging and challenging environment for children to begin their lifelong learning journey. By utilizing the Early Years Foundation Stage system of learning, we can strengthen all areas of your child’s early development. Our diverse curriculum utilizes curiosity through play, inquiry, song, and movement to engage and develop every student. Led by an excellent team of highly-experienced faculty, each day is filled with imaginative and fun learning.

Lower School at NAISNY:
Year 1-4 (Grade K-3)

In Lower School, we believe in a holistic approach to education, ensuring that each child has the best possible platform to accelerate their learning across the core academics, creative arts, and physical exercise. We have structured a balanced and diverse curriculum that covers a range of topics taught by highly experienced teachers. Theme-based learning encourages children to make connections for deeper understanding.

Upper School at NAISNY:
Year 5-9 (Grade 4-8)

In Upper School, students are at a stage in their lives where they start to discover their independence and self-reliance. We provide the support required for each student to grow both academically and personally. By using both the national curriculum of England and the International Primary and Middle Years curricula, we offer a great solution, strengthened further by our collaborations with MIT, Juilliard, and UNICEF.
