Join us for an evening of luminous elegance as we explore the art of Italian fine jeweler Lucia Odescalchi. In conversation with Ilene Gutman, Deputy Director at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Lucia will let us enter her unique workshop, where the much sought-after pieces come to life before they can be appreciated all over the world.

Avant-garde in spirit, conceptual in shape, Lucia’s experimental creations are fearless in combining what is precious with high-tech materials. Gold, platinum, silver and precious stones are mixed and matched with silicone, resins and carbon fiber to craft her unique designs.

Enriched by a sample exhibit of Lucia’s latest creations, the discussion will focus on the meaning of designing jewelry for this day and age. By adding new materials and using new technologies that link past and future, we discover the secret on how to make fashionable objects that possess timeless beauty.
