Inspired by true events, THE BUTLER is an epic tale set against the dramatic events of the first half of the 20th century in Poland. The movie has been considered one of the most important Polish movies of 2018 and received several awards at the Polish Film Festival in Gdynia in 2018 as well as two ORZEŁ (Eagle) Awards from the Polish Film Academy in 2019.
