Showcasing Greek Culture during EUMC-2019

The European Month of Culture (EUMC) brings the best of European culture to Washington, DC during the entire month of May! 

The flagship EU Open House will be held May 11, when along with the 27 EU embassies and the EU Delegation we will open our doors to the public and offer info on Greece, culinary treats, music, dance and lots more!

As part of the European Union Month of Culture, the Center for Hellenic Studies and the Embassy of Greece in Washington DC organize a lecture recital on May 13, titled “NIKOS GATSOS: MUSIC FOR A BETTER DAY” with Maria Anastasi-Paschalidis (voice) and Aphrodite Mitsopoulou (piano) in honor of Agathi Dimitrouka. Nikos Gatsos is one of the most celebrated Greek poets and songwriters of the 20th century. RSVP here
