Tanz in den Mai

Staying with the theme of the 1920s and 30s implied by the Walter Jurmann song above, we are delighted to be hosting our first ever “Tanz in den Mai” – a German tradition that welcomes the month of May with good food, beer music, dancing and delicious Waldmeisterbowle orMay punch on Thursday, May 10 from 6:30 pm— 9 pm. Kick up your heels or just kick back and relax to popular German tunes of yesteryear.

Film Presentation

Our popular film presentation series is going strong, and next week, Wednesday, May 2 from 2—4 pm, we will be featuring the comedic spy thriller “Kundschafter des Friedens” about a former East German spy who, together with his old team, is called out of retirement to carry out a mission in the nearby former communist country of Katschekistan. They soon find out that much has changed – not just the map, and hilarity ensues as they cope with unforeseen challenges.
