On the occasion of the Second Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, join us for a virtual culinary tour of Italy as we present Discover the #ItalianTaste, an exhibition featuring 20 photographs, one for each Italian Region, describing food and wine itineraries to explore the #ItalianTaste, which can become real ideas for travel.

Travel "tailorist" and curator Lorenza Scalisi will guide us through the diversity of landscapes, cultures and culinary traditions of Italy in a talk that will unveil unusual tourist destinations beyond Venice, Florence, Capri or Portofino. We will discover the fishing tradition of trabocchi in San Vito Chietino (Abruzzo), explore the Franciacorta vineyards in Gussago (Lombardia) and find out about ancient cheese making techniques in Prepotto (Friuli Venezia Giulia). Such rich culinary heritage will serve as an inspiration and a starting point for real excursions to some of the most beautiful (and less known) gems of Italy.

A Sicilian themed Street Food Festival, sponsored by Regione Sicilia in cooperation with the Embassy of Italy, will follow the presentation.
