Israeli-born pianist Tomer Gewirtzman will be performing a program including works by Liszt, Schumann, Corigliano and Couperin. Gewirtzman is a pianist of superb control, thoughtfulness  and curiosity, he has amassed numerous competition prizes and other honors in Israel and throughout the U.S.

An Egyptian Police Band arrives in Israel to play a concert. After a mix-up at the border, they are sent to a remote village in the middle of the desert. With no bus until morning and no hotel in sight, these unlikely travelers are taken in by the locals. Under the spell of the desert sky, their lives become intertwined in the most unexpected ways. A new musical based on the critically acclaimed screenplay which received 36 major international awards.

"If The Dead Could Speak" - The Jewish Cemetery in Warsaw

Director Asaf Galay is a maker of entertaining and innovative films about modern Jewish culture. Galay will speak on his new film, which focuses on the Warsaw Jewish Cemetery.  Founded in 1806, it is one of the largest Jewish cemeteries in the world, covering 83 acres of land.
