As stated above, Washington, DC's In Series program presents "The Romantics" - a salon-style

concert, featuring pieces from the heart of the Romantic era. Delve into the historical context and

musical structure of Robert Schumann's Dichterliebe and other poetic masterpieces by

Heinrich Heine. Unforgettable performances and fascinating discussion with tenor, Byron Jones,

mezzo soprano Elizabeth Mondragon and pianist Carla Huebner.

Join us at the GAHM for our bi-monthly Fruehschoppen. This month our featured speaker will be

Sylvia Blume, Cultural Programs Curator at the Goethe-Institut and co-curator of FilmNeu.

Fruehschoppen is a Bavarian-style brunch served with pretzels, sausages, and drinks.

Tickets for this all-inclusive event are $15 for GAHF-members and $20 for non-members.
