The Avalon Theatre will screen the film Home Care (Domaci pece) on August 10, at 8 pm, for one night only!! Variety Magazine calls director Slávek Horák's film Home Care, "wryly humorous and bittersweet...an appealing humanist tale that puts a poignant spin on that perennial staple of the Czech cinema, the village dramedy." Enjoy this moving film at the Avalon Theatre as part of the Lions of Czech Film Series. The film represented the Czech Republic for contention in the Academy Awards 2016. Lead actress Alena Mihulová received a Czech Lion for Best Actress (2015).
