No better way to celebrate Ireland's 100 years as a nation than to hear from Irish men and women who were there at the beginning.

Solas Nua is happy to announce that "Older Than Ireland" will screen at its 10th Capital Irish Film Festival. Written and directed by Alex Fegan, who gave us "The Irish Pub", "Older Than Ireland" has caught up with 30 Irish centenarians and invited them to give out about everything from the Civil War to the Internet.

It's a back-yard-fence take on the first 100 years. Hilarious, poignant and quintessentially Irish. The Irish Times reported, "You could barely imagine a record of the nation that so effectively combined economy with comprehensiveness."
