The Japan Information and Culture Center (JICC) and the Japan-America Society of Washington DC (JASW DC) invite you to a panel discussion on English-language haiku.

Three esteemed, award-winning haiku poets will discuss the structural demands of this traditional Japanese poetic form and how to accomplish a successful haiku in English. Our panelists will also highlight the importance of seasons in Japanese haiku versus English haiku, and explore how haiku has affected the English language (and vice-versa).

Come join us for an engaging discussion, open Q&A session, and exciting announcement from your friends at the JICC and JASWDC!
