The Office of Science and Technology of the Embassy of France in Washington DC, invites you to meet Joseph Sifakis, French recipient of the ACM Turing Award in 2007. This award is the highest in Computer Science and it is bestowed by the Association for Computing Machinery since 1966. To this date, Professor Sifakis is the only French scientist to have received the Turing award.

Professor Sifakis will speak about the Internet of Things and the scientific challenges in the Information and Communication Technology associated with this revolution. We will have a Q&A session moderated by Bob Kahn, laureate of the Turing Award in 2004, before continuing the conversation over refreshments for those interested in deepening the discussion.
