Marianna Bednarska was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1993 and studied music there until 2012.  Subsequently, she moved to Stuttgart, Germany, where she is now studying with Marta Klimarsara at the Staatliche Hochschule fur Musik Und Darstellend Kunst.

Marianna recorded her first CD in 2013 with the Aalborg Symphonic Orchestra, conducted by Henrik Vagn Christensen and also won the prestigious Polish-Danish Friendship Prize for her special contributions to music.

She has won over 19 international and Polish percussion competitions:including the International Percussion and marimba competitions in Paris, France (2009), Fermo, Italy (2006), and Warsaw, Poland (2011 and 2010,) to name a few. In addition, she has performed recitals and played with numerous orchestras in festivals and in concerts in Switzerland, France, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Belgium, the Ukraine, and of course, Poland.
