The British Council, in cooperation with the Immigration Policy Center of the American Immigration Council, Goethe-Institut, Austrian Cultural Forum, and Migration Policy Group, invites you to a discussion of the latest Migration Policy Index results on Monday, 9 May at the Goethe-Institut.

The MIPEX compares and ranks countries across 148 policy indicators, providing objective and comparable data presented in a reference guide and an interactive online tool to help policymakers, advocates and researchers assess and compare integration policies around the globe.

Policy indicators are divided into seven categories: employment opportunities, family reunion, education, political participation, long-term residence, access to citizenship and anti-discrimination. Countries surveyed include all 27 EU member states, Norway, Switzerland, Canada and for the first time, the US. The Immigration Policy Center provided the data for the US portion of the study.

This event has been generously sponsored by the European Union National Institutes for Culture. MIPEX has been co-financed by the European Community under the European Integration Fund.
